Who We Are
Anthem Marketing Solutions was founded in 1997 by John Keenan. During the first several years in business, John and his partner provided independent CRM and database marketing strategy consulting services to to a number of agencies, including Wunderman and Leo Burnett, serving clients such as Sears, Equifax and Citigroup.
The advanced analytic and big-data needs were more than most agencies could handle, so Anthem expanded into this niche, providing full data analysis and analytic strategy for clients. In 2007, Anthem formally adopted the name Anthem Marketing Solutions to more broadly reflect the range of consulting and packaged services that we offer. In that same year, Christopher Carroll became a partner at Anthem.
The Initiative for a Competitive Inner City (ICIC) and Fortune announced that Anthem was selected for the 2014 Inner City 100, a list of the fastest-growing inner city businesses in the U.S. In 2013, Anthem made the list of Inc. Magazine’s ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies — for the second year in a row. Our CEO, John C. Keenan, attributes Anthem’s success to having the right team: a diverse group of people that enjoys growing together as they help their clients to grow.
